CUSTOMAGENTS
How It Works

How CustomAgents Works

Create an agent with its own email address, phone number, and Slack profile in under 5 minutes. No code required.

The process

Define the role

Write your agent's instructions in plain language: "You are a customer support agent for an online furniture store. Handle returns, answer product questions, and escalate anything involving damaged items to me."

Agent gets its own email

Each agent receives a dedicated email address instantly — support@yourdomain.com or agentname@customagents.io. The agent owns this inbox. Emails arrive in real-time via webhooks, not polling.

Connect your tools

Connect your platforms via one-click OAuth: Instagram, LinkedIn, Shopify, Google Drive, Eventbrite, and Canvas LMS. The agent uses these tools within conversations automatically.

Set autonomy level

Start in draft mode — every response is written by the agent and reviewed by you before sending. Move to auto-respond with escalation rules as trust builds. Eventually, full autonomy for routine work.

Go live

Toggle the agent on. Customers email the address and receive intelligent, contextual responses within seconds. You monitor via the dashboard and adjust instructions as needed.

What each agent gets

Dedicated Email

A real email address that receives, reads, classifies, and responds to email autonomously.

Context Memory

Remembers every conversation across email, text, and Slack. Same context, same agent across all three channels.

Contact Management

Builds a contact list from every conversation. History, context, and interaction logs — all built in.

Configurable Autonomy

Draft mode, auto-respond, or full autonomy. Escalation rules for edge cases.

Integrations

One-click OAuth for Instagram, LinkedIn, Shopify, Google Drive, Eventbrite, and Canvas LMS.

Scheduled Tasks

Follow-ups, reminders, and automated sequences on your schedule.
