Skills
Built-in capabilities every agent has from the moment you create it — no integrations, no setup, no extra cost.
Skills
Skills are built-in capabilities every agent has from the moment you create it. They don't require any platform connection, OAuth, or configuration. They just work.
What skills are included
| Skill | What it does |
|---|---|
| Web search | The agent can search the internet for current information |
| Generate PDF | The agent can create PDF documents — invoices, reports, contracts, summaries |
| Generate image | The agent can create images — diagrams, graphics, social posts |
| Send email | The agent can send email outbound from its own address |
| Bulk email | The agent can send a single message to many recipients at once |
| Manage tasks | The agent can create, track, and update tasks for itself and for you |
| Manage contacts | The agent has its own built-in contact list — auto-updated from conversations |
How skills are different from integrations
Skills are built in — no connection required. The agent uses them whenever they're relevant.
Integrations connect the agent to external platforms (Instagram, Shopify, etc.) via OAuth. You choose which platforms to connect on each agent.
Enabling and disabling skills
Skills are enabled by default. You can turn off individual skills in your agent's settings → Tools tab. Disabling a skill prevents the agent from using it, which can reduce noise if a skill isn't relevant to that agent's job.
Skills and autonomy
Skills are subject to the same autonomy settings as the rest of the agent. In draft mode, the agent will propose using a skill (e.g., "I can generate an invoice PDF for this customer — want me to?") and wait for your approval before taking action. In auto mode, it uses skills as needed without prompting.
See Autonomy modes for more.
